So...things improved a little on Sunday. The diner I made went over really well. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would, so I'm pretty proud of that. ^-^ And the Jazz won...took overtime, but they won. ^-^ We wound up staying the night at my mother-in-law's place, as she needed someone at the house the following day as she was having carpet put in to the basement. (which looks great, by the way) Wound up at her place for HOURS longer than I was planning, though, as not only did Bran have an interview in the morning, but went from that all but directly to another one that called as he got out of the first. Because of that I didn't get ANYTHING done here at home. And now I'm here today with just Nicolai, as Bran is running for his mom's office (yay to getting a little money in the house!) and from there he's basically going to be at his mom's for all the stuff she's having done there today.

So I am cleaning my ass off today...and taking a break at the moment because my back is killing me. I, like my sisters, wound up with the bad back that runs in my father's family...and it doesn't take much to make it hurt to the point that standing, sitting, and laying down all hurt and you have to just find the one that hurts the least. I'd take something for it, but any kind of pain killers knock me out cold for at least 2 hours. So without Bran here, I can't take it with Nicolai home. I am so taking a long, hot soak in a bubble bath after Nicolai goes to bed tonight.

In other news, my dad is spending all day today driving. To start off his day, he had to drive to Spring City (or close to it) wich is a 2 hour drive away to get my grandfather from the hospital there, get the 2 swans and 6 geese my grandfather had, then drive back HERE (literally around the corner and down about a block) to take my grandfather to the care center we want him in here...then he gets to drive out of state, to Idaho, to get the birds to the man buying them. So yeah...lots of being busy today for everyone, with all of us still feeling very stressed and very, very tired. Yay wee fun.
